About Our Honey
The Jarrah Honey Difference
Jarrah Honey: WA's Most Powerful Honey
Bee Happy Jarrah Honey is raw, cold-pressed and full of natural goodness. With a T/A rating of 35+* and a rich, caramel-like flavour, it’s not just delicious — it’s packed with powerful antimicrobial and antibacterial properties too. Low GI and high in antioxidants, it’s a smart everyday choice that stays smooth, delicious and pourable year-round.
Jarrah honey is unique due to its specific floral source, the Jarrah tree. The Jarrah tree produces nectar with unique properties due to the nutrient rich Western Australian soils, resulting in a honey that is distinct in taste, colour, aroma and very high bio-activity. Jarrah honey is known for its high levels of antimicrobial activity and it’s natural antioxidants.
Understanding Honey Strength
The Strength Behind Every Spoonful
Not all honey is created equal. At Bee Happy, every jar is tested for its natural antimicrobial strength using T/A (Total Antimicrobial Activity) and MGO (Methylglyoxal) ratings. These scores show just how powerful each batch is — from gentle, everyday support to ultimate strength for serious care.
Whether you’re reaching for immune support, soothing a sore throat, or looking for nature’s help with wound care, our honey delivers more than sweetness.
With Certified Organic options like Jarrah and Bottlebrush, and premium varieties including Jarrah and Dwutta, Bee Happy honey offers a natural choice you can trust — pure, potent, and proudly from Western Australia.

The certified Organic Difference
Certified Organic vs Premium Honey – What’s the Difference?
At Bee Happy, we produce two types of pure Western Australian honey: Certified Organic and Premium. The difference isn’t in taste or quality – it’s all about where our bees forage.
We’re proudly certified organic by the Organic Food Chain (OFC). Our Certified Organic honey comes from hives in pristine environments at least 5 km from potential contaminants like farms or industrial areas, ensuring bees forage only from clean, natural sources.
About half of our hives are in these certified safe zones year-round. The rest are in equally beautiful but non-certified locations when organic sites aren’t available all year. This honey becomes our Premium range – still 100% pure WA honey, harvested with the same care, just from outside the 5 km certified radius.
No matter which jar you choose, you’re enjoying natural, local honey made with respect for our bees and the land.
